Woman of Wonder 2
Beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, as strong as Hercules, and as swift as Hermes, she is Wonder Woman!
On Saturday Oct 18th 2014 The heroic charity event happen again, Woman of Wonder 2 was a wonderful time, parents, children, cosplayes, artists and sisters got together and celebrated the legacy of Wonder Woman with this silent Auction Benefiting the Women’s Residential and Counseling Center in Orlando Florida.
The Women’s Residential and Counseling Center in Orlando Florida is a shelter for single women and families.
As a program of the Coalition, WRCC is a transitional housing facility for women and children. The facility can house up to 138 individuals and includes 12 emergency beds for crisis situations. Clients who live at WRCC work with an individual case manager and have access to the main campus resources and services.
This year Woman of Wonder 2 was short in time but bigger in success, Once again this event was held at Coliseum of Comics and once again Mr Aaron Holland and staff were more than wonderful, they accommodated us and show great support to this event recruiting so many talented artists to be part of the “artist alley”. I honestly have no words to thank them enough for all their help.
Extraordinary Body and face painter Brit Lytle donate her time and work creating all kind of super hero face painting and of course Wonder Woman Tiaras. I also worked this year with the amazing Evelyn Santiago, a wonder woman cosplayer, she help me recruiting the Amazons, Batman and Aquaman. she also baked and donated a beautiful wonder woman cake.
Its 2014, a new age of super heroes, we don’t need the gods and goddesses blessing any more, we all are capable to become a hero, we don’t need nobody’s permission to be wonderful.
